Job Description:
The Takeaway Manager will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the takeaway, leading the kitchen and service team, ensuring authentic South Indian food quality, and delivering an excellent customer experience. The ideal candidate must have strong experience in South Indian cuisine, team leadership, customer service, and takeaway operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the takeaway and kitchen
• Lead, train, and manage kitchen and front-of-house staff
• Ensure consistency in food taste, presentation, and quality standards
• Prepare and supervise authentic South Indian dishes
• Monitor food tasting, seasoning, and portion quality
• Coordinate online, phone, and delivery orders efficiently
• Explain dishes, ingredients, and spice levels to new customers and provide recommendations
• Maintain excellent customer service and handle complaints professionally
• Ensure hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards are maintained at all times
• Manage stock control, ordering, and supplier coordination
• Support the business in setting up and managing future branches across the UK

Requirements:

• Proven experience in South Indian cuisine and takeaway management
• Strong knowledge of authentic South Indian recipes and preparation methods
• Ability to maintain consistent taste and food quality
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Experience using food delivery platforms and takeaway systems
• Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and busy periods

• Must be willing to relocate to other UK locations as part of company expansion
• Must maintain confidentiality of business operations, recipes, preparation methods, and company information
